En Eurovisión 2002 descubrimos la séptima maravilla del festival. Ella se llama Ira Losco y es maltesa. Nos sorprendió con una actuación cargada de magia, guiños a la cámara y un tema un tanto romanticón. Consiguió el segundo puesto en Tallin con 164 puntos, 10 de ellos otorgados por el televoto español. Sólo fue superada por la canción ganadora, Letonia, "I Wanna", Marija Naumova.

Ira nació el 31 de julio de 1981 en la localidad maltesa de Sliema. Su carrera musical comenzó en 1997 como componente del grupo infantil Tiara. A partir de su paso por Eurovisión lanzó su carrera en solitario.
