¡Me olvidé de Malta! ¿Será por el Vodka?

Este año llevo un pequeño descontrol al hablar sobre las diferentes preselecciones nacionales. Entretenido con analizar la loca preselección rumana os comenté que iba a analizar los temas de Malta que siempre me suelen gustar. Para mi sorpresa, escuchando el PODCAST DE JORGE me he enterado que ya tenemos elegida. Y yo sin saberlo, ¿será por efecto del Vodka?

Y es que así se titula el tema de Morena Camirelli que es la chica que representará a la isla en Eurovisión. Su tema "Vodka" ha sido el ganador del "Malta Song For Europe 2008" y el titulo define muy bien lo que es el tema: una marea de sonido y ritmo que te envuelve de tal manera que cuando ha acabado uno se siente embriagado y algo mareado.


Morena se ha impuesto a la sempiterna favorita Claudia Faniello que se ha quedado en segundo lugar con su tema "Caravaggio". El top 3 final ha sido:

68 puntos y 12714 votos: Caravaggio - Claudia Faniello
78 puntos, 16,979 votos: Vodka - Morena

El compositor del tema es un viejo conocido nuestro Philip Vella y el autor Gerard James Borg. El tema seguro que animará mucho el festival y ofrecerá un espectáculo de luz y sonido sobre el escenario. ¡Qué pena que no pueda ir! Espero que mis amigos Fran y Karmelo me mantengan bien informado ya que van a tener la suerte de ir a ver el espectáculo en directo.
