9. HUNGRÍA - ByeAlex - "Kedvesem"

Alex Márta, más conocido por su nombre artístico ByeAlex, fue el ganador de la preselección húngara A Dal y cultiva un estilo indie pop. Será él quien represente a los magiares en Malmö

"Kedvesem" es el título de este extraño tema que amenaza con aburrir hasta a las piedras. Reconozco que no me confieso seguidor del estilo indie pero temas como éste poco ayudan a que pueda despertar en mí alguna simpatía. Los compositores son el propio Alex Márta, Zoltán Palásti y Kovács Zoohacker.

Valoración personal: poco puedo decir a favor de éste tema salvo que es remedio santo para el insomnio. Necesitarán de muchos dibujitos para evitar que aprovechemos la pausa del baño durante su canción. 4 puntos. 

10. ISLANDIA - Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson - "Ég á Líf" 

Aprovechando mi reciente viaje a Islandia ilustra esta delegación una bonita postal del paisaje que rodea al pueblo de Vik, en la costa sur de la isla. Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson ganó el Songvakeppnin 2013 lo que le da derecho a representar a los nórdicos en Malmö. Poco más sabemos de este cantante. 

"Ég á Líf "  recupera el idioma local para Eurovisión en una balada intimista que me temo que encallará en semifinales y que se puede traducir como "Tengo una vida". Es una canción que poco destacará en un festival en el que abundan las canciones lentas y hace retroceder a los islandeses unos cuantos años. ¿Dónde quedaron esas preciosas baladas o ese eurodance que mostraban orgullosos a toda Europa?

Valoración personal: Poco a favor puedo decir de un tema que me cuesta escuchar hasta el final al igual que ocurre con el anterior. Creo que será el único país nórdico que encallará en semifinales. 3,5 puntos.

 

11. ISRAEL - Moran Mazor - "Rak bishvilo"

Moran  Mazor es una joven cantante hebrea que saltó a la fama por ser la ganadora de la primera temporada del concurso "Eyal Golan te llama" y este año ha logrado imponerse en la final nacional del Kdam.

"Rak bishvilo" es el título de la bonita balada que cantará en Malmö y que se puede traducir por "Sólo por él". No sé el porqué pero el idioma hebreo suena muy bien en una balada bien cantada y mucho me temo que puedan cambiarla al inglés y que ésta pierda su encanto. El tema ha sido compuesto por Chen Harari y la letra es de Gal Sarig. Logra llegar al corazón con esta emotiva balada.

Mi valoración personal: Los hebreos son maestros en fabricar emotivas baladas que nos llegan directas al corazón y este año no va a ser una excepción. Esperemos que cuiden un poco más el vestuario de su representante. 8 puntos.

12. LETONIA - PeR - "Here we go"

PeR es el nombre del grupo que ha conseguido imponerse en la final nacional del Dziesma 2013 y que es la contracción de "Please explain the Rhythm", una banda fundada en 2007 y especialista en pop y beatboxing. Se han presentado varias veces a la preselección letona consiguiendo este año el pasaporte.

"Here we go" es el título de este tema con toques raperos compuesto por Ralph Eilands y Arturas Burke y que mucho me temo dejará a los letones en semifinales. Tema especialmente simple donde los haya. No hay nada que pueda destacar.
