Semifinal 2: análisis de temas (4)

Después de presentar la V Fiesta de Eurovisión Bilbao 2013 que tendrá lugar el próximo sábado día 4 de mayo en el Badulake de Bilbao continuamos con el análisis de temas que participarán en esta segunda semifinal de Eurovisión 2013.

13. MALTA - Gianluca Bezzina - "Tomorrow"

Asistir al Eurosong maltés es como ir al Baile de la Rosa de Mónaco donde año tras año vemos las mismas caras y los mismos estilos. Pues bien, este año 2013 la isla mediterránea se ha decantado por el joven Gianluca Bezzina, un joven de 23 años que ha vivido el mundillo de la música en su propia familia si bien él ha estudiado para cirujano. Logró imponerse en la tradicional duerme-gala maltesa a ilustres nombres isleños como Claudia Faniello, Gianni Zammit, Jessica Muscat, Amber o Klinsmann por citar algunos.

"Tomorrow" es una canción evidente, de estribillo pegadizo y que trasmite buen rollo. Todo parece estar en su sitio en esta propuesta maltesa salvo que se olvidan de que están en 2013 y si sus propuestas gustaban en los 90 ahora empiezan a saturar un poco. El chaval pone todo su empeño e interés en ofrecernos un buen espectáculo pero, ¿lo conseguirá en Malmö?

Mi valoración personal: Nada negativo puedo decir del intérprete o del tema pero los temas malteses necesitan una vuelta más para sorprender en Eurovisión. 7,5 puntos. 

14. NORUEGA - Margaret Berger - "I Feed You Me Love"

Margaret Berger es una joven noruega nacida en Trondheim, cantante y compositora de electropop. Debutó con la discográfica Sony BMG después de quedar en segundo lugar en el concurso "Idol" en 2004. En el Melodi Grand Prix ha logrado imponerse a la hispano-noruega Adelén y su bailable "Bombo". Mucho castellano pudimos escuchar en la final noruega. 

"I feed you mi love" es la propuesta que los noruegos han elegido para representar a su país en Malmö y se trata de una canción perfecta, que hipnotiza con la voz maravillosa de Margaret y que con su intensidad dramática consigue un impacto en el espectador. De hecho, es una de las grandes favoritas a ganar Eurovisión este año.

Mi valoración personal: Noruega apuesta fuerte con un original tema, lleno de intensidad y que podría sorprender. Personalmente, hay algo que no me acaba de convencer pero no lo sé explicar. 8,7 puntos. 

 

15. RUMANÍA - Cezar - "It's my life"

Cezar Florin Ouatu es un cantante y contratenor rumano que logró la victoria en el Selectia Nationala 2013 y que ya tiene varios premios a sus espaldas. Este año pondrá la nota operística de la noche. 

"It's my life" es el título de este tema simplón y estridente donde la mayor originalidad está en la voz de su protagonista. No deja de resultarme un tema vulgar y evidente para Eurovisión. Este año Rumanía me ha decepcionado.

Mi valoración personal: Rumanía no ha elegido el mejor tema de los finalistas y el tema me resulta un tanto estridente. 6,2 puntos.

16. SAN MARINO - Valentina Monetta - "Crisalide"

Tras su primer intento fallido en 2008, la sanmarinense Valentina Monetta representará a su pequeño país por segunda vez consecutiva y con una propuesta mucho más seria que la del año pasado, que la llevó a cambiar el título de su canción por utilizar en nombre de una conocida red social. 

"Crisalide" es una propuesta de calidad en la que Valentina tiene la oportunidad de mostar todo su potencial en directo. También conocida como "Vola" y cantada en italiano, la canción lleva el sello del afamado Ralph Siegel y Mauro Balestri. El tema va subiendo en intensidad y carga emocional si bien muchos desconfian del directo de Valentina una vez vista su participación del año pasado.

Mi valoración personal: necesito ver su directo para creerme las posibilidades de la canción. 7,8 puntos. 

17. SUIZA - Takasa - "You and me"

Takasa es la versión 2.0 de la banda Heilsarmee, obligada a cambiar de nombre por el contenido ideológico ya que se puede traducir por "Ejército de salvación" y está identificado con una organización cristiana suiza. Es una banda compuesta por 6 miembros que decidieron utilizar Takasa, que en idioma suajili significa "puro".

"You and me" es un pegadizo himno que alegrará a más de uno en Malmö pero que no aporta, en mi opinión, nada de original. Eso sí, tendremos la posibilidad de ver al participante más veterano en la historia del certamen.

Mi valoración personal: Nada nuevo en el panorama musical aporta este experimento suizo que no creo que tenga demasiada repercusión. 6,9 puntos.
